Over 8 in 10 US TV households own connected TV device - Leichtman

The number of US households with at least one internet-connected TV rose to 82 percent in April-May, from 80 percent the year before, 74 percent in 2019, 65 percent in 2016 and 30 percent in 2011, according to the latest study from Leichtman. Devices include Smart TVs, stand-along streaming devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV stick or set-top box, Chromecast and Apple, connected video game systems, and connected Blu-ray players. Homes had a mean of 4.1 devices per connected TV household.
