Lt Col Ronald Kakurungu has been appointed as the new Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Deputy Spokesperson.
Lt Col Kakurungu replaces Col Deo Akiiki who was appointed to the position in March 2017.
Col Akiiki now heads to Kimaka for further training before redeployment.
Lt Col Kakurungu is a veteran military publicist who has worked as a Spokesperson of several army divisions across the country including the UPDF second division.
