Italian actor Michele Morrone, who plays gangster Massimo Torricelli in Netflix's romantic drama '365 Days', has reportedly been approached for a Bollywood film by producer Karan Johar.
According to reports, Michele has been contacted by Dharma Productions for an upcoming big-budget project. Reports also claim that two other A-list Bollywood filmmakers have approached the Italian star for other projects.
However, nothing official has been confirmed yet.
Michelle rose to fame with '365 Days' - a erotic romantic film helmed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes. The 2020 film is based on the first novel of a trilogy by Blanka Lipińska. It stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka opposite Michelle.
The film is about a woman who falls victim to a mafia boss who imprisons her and gives her one year to fall in love with him.
The movie drew flak from critics and audiences for its controversial plot. However, the makers are currently working on the next two installments in the trilogy.
The sequel will reportedly star Italian model Simone Susinna.
Meanwhile, Karan, recently, in association with Cornerstone Agency, launched a collaborative space to promote budding talent. The new venture is called DCA. This move has now made Karan's Dharma Productions, the second Bollywood production house after Aditya's Yash Raj Films to have a talent management wing.
'Takht' is a historical drama that narrates the story of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and his brother Dara Shikoh, and their fight for the throne. Actors Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal are playing Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb, respectively.
The cast also features Anil Kapoor as Shah Jahan, Kareena Kapoor as Jahanara Begum and Alia Bhatt as Dilras Banu. Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor also star in the film.
It will mark Johar's return to big screen direction for the first time since his 2016 release, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
