Hyderabad: In India, the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic claimed more lives than the first wave. In several cases, more than one family member died of the disease. In a similar case, three members of a family died as a result of COVID-19 on the same day.
Shambulingam, 38, was found in the town of Mughal Matka in the Narayanpet district of Telangana. COVID-19 positive on May 24th. After a few days, his father Badriah Swamy (70) and mother Shashikala (66) also tested positive for COVID-19.
Once the result is positive, Shambulingam begins his treatment at home. However, when his condition worsened, he was admitted to a private hospital in Mahbubnagar. Later, his parents were admitted to a state hospital.
While he was being treated, Shashikala died in the early hours of Friday morning, while Shambulingam, who was on ventilator support, exhaled his last breath around 09:30 on the same day.
The final rituals of the COVID-19 victims were carried out by their relatives.
Bhadraiah who was in the hospital who underwent COVID-19 treatment suffered a heart attack and died that afternoon.
