Megha Ganne, an American amateur teen golfer with Indian parentage, continued to hold the spotlight with an even-par round on the second day to sail into the weekend rounds in tied-3d place at the US Women’s Open here.

Megha (17), who came into the Major after battling through a 3-for-1 play-offs in the qualifiers last month, had three birdies and three pars.

Tvesa up to T-10 in France

Evian-Les-Bains: Indian golfer Tvesa Malik staged a brilliant comeback in the second round of the Jabra Ladies Open with the day's best card of a 4-under 67 that catapulted her to tied-10th. In the first round, she had carded a 4-over 75 that put her in the danger of missing the cut.
