French Open 2021 Day 8:- The upcoming Day 8 of the French Open will feature top tennis players: Tennis Legend Serena Williams, fifth-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas and World No.2 Daniil Medvedev in action. The trio will aim to book their place in the quarterfinals of the French Open in their quest for silverware at Roland Garros.

French Open 2021 Day 8: Serena Williams vs Elena Rybakina

Serena, who is bidding for her record 24th grand slam with Australia’s Margaret Court, will face 21st ranked Russian-born Kazakhstani professional player Elena Rybakina in the fourth round of the French Open. The latter has come into the contest on the back of her straight-sets win over Hibino, Jacquemot and Vesnina but needs to play out of her skin to contest the experienced Williams.

Williams entered the contest after wins over M Buzarnescu (three sets), I Begu and D Collins (straight sets). Her performance keeps getting better and better which makes her the favourite to clinch the title after a gap of 3 years.

French Open 2021 Day 8: Stefanso Tsitsipas vs Pablo Carreno Busta

Fifth-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas will take on Pablo Carreno Busta of Span. The Greek professional is the favourite to progress to the quarterfinal. He is coming on the back of hard-fought victories over Pedro Martinez, John Chardy and John Isner. As a result, he needs to be wary of the Spaniard.

Ranked 12th, Carreno Busta is coming into the contest after three sets win over S Johnson and N Gombos in the third and fourth set while he defeated E Coucaud in an intense four-set battle.

French Open 2021 Day 8: Daniil Medvedev vs Christian Garin

World No.2 Daniil Medvedev will lock horns against 22nd seed Christian Garin of Chile in the fourth round at Roland Garros. Medvedev is coming on the back of easy wins over T Paul, A Bublik and Reilly Opelka. As a result, Garin needs to come up with his A-game of he has to compete against the Russian.
