Mega Millions Results, Numbers for 06/04/21: Did Anyone Win the $45 Million?
There have been no winners for Friday's Mega Millions $45 million jackpot, with no one matching enough balls to win the second place $1 million prize either.
No tickets matched all five numbers and the one golden Mega Ball to take home the main prize, and no one matched just the five white balls.
The winning numbers for the draw on Friday, June 4 were 04-30-34-41-64, with the Mega Ball being 08.
There have been seven people who managed to match four white balls and one Mega Ball, meaning they took home $10,000.
There was also a 3X Megaplier in play, tripling the amount players could win outside the main jackpot.
One of the seven people who won the $10,00 paid to have the MegaPlier in play, meaning their winnings increased to $30,000.
As there were no winners of the main jackpot prize, some of the money will be added to the next draw on Tuesday, June 8.
The estimated jackpot for Tuesday's draw is now $56 million, with a cash option of $38.3 million.
Elsewhere, one person has won one of the largest jackpot in Mega Millions history after purchasing the winning ticket at a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Bucks County.
The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 6-9-17-18-48, and the yellow Mega Ball 8, for the draw on Friday, May 21, meaning they won the huge $516 million, or $349.3 million cash.
The final jackpot value was updated based on actual sales but is already the ninth-largest Mega Millions jackpot awarded since the game began in 2002.
This is the third Mega Millions jackpot to be won in 2021. On January 22, a whopping $1.050 billion prize was collected by a group of players in Michigan, with $96 million won by a New York couple on February 16.
It is also the largest Mega Millions jackpot won in Pennsylvania since the state joined the game in 2010.
The 7-Eleven store on 2760 Trenton Road, Levittown, will earn a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket on the May 21 draw.
"The Pennsylvania Lottery congratulates the big winner of this historic jackpot, and 7-Eleven for selling the big Mega Millions winning jackpot ticket," said Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko.
"Thanks to our network of more than 9,600 retailers and players across Pennsylvania, the Lottery is continuing to fulfill its mission of responsibly generating funds for programs that benefit older Pennsylvanians."
In 2014, a Pittsburgh man won a $149 million prize on May 20. A $153 million jackpot was also won on July 21, 2015, by a Virginia truck driver while on his route in Pennsylvania.
