Hyderabad: Police constable dies in fatal road accident

Hyderabad: A police constable working with the city police has died in a fatal road accident in Moosarambagh. G. Praneeth Kumar, the deceased, lost his life after a man rode on a Bajaj Chetak in the Activa he was driving. Kumar was killed instantly after the collision.

According to police, the accused was identified as D. Murali Manohar Rao, a packaging worker working in a local Hindi language. Police Constable Praneeth Kumar worked for the North Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police as a systems operator. He was 27 years old. He was attached to the DCP office after previously working with the Mahankali police station.

Earlier, another police constable, who worked as a writer, was also killed in a road accident at Palamakula, Bangalore Highway in Shamshabad. A Cyberabad Police Officer Tells Siasat.com that a Swift car hit the constable, M. Gunde Rao, as he was returning to the office after attending a wedding ceremony of his friend.

According to Shamshabad police, Constable M. Gunde Rao served one year in the police force. The driver of the car that hit him was arrested after the incident.
