Mumbai reported 866 new COVID-19 cases on June 5, taking the total tally to 7,10,807. Now, there are 16,133 active cases in the city.

City recorded 29 deaths due to coronavirus on Saturday which pushed its fatality count to 15,018 as per data released by the city's civic body. 1045 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged on Saturday taking the recovery count to 6,77,445.

On Saturday, 26,669 tests were conducted, as compared to 24,667 on June 3. May 17 had reported the lowest count rate with just 17,640 tests.

Meanwhile, the doubling rate has increased to 511 days, while the weekly growth rate has dropped to 0.13 percent.

There are total 27 containment zones in the city and 116 buildings have been sealed as per today's data. Mumbai has till date conducted 63,98,665 COVID-19 tests.
