Southern railway apprentice recruitment 2021: Apply online for 3378 vacancies
NEW DELHI: Southern Railway has invited online applications from candidates to apply for Apprentice posts. The selected candidates will be engaged in the unit of their choice subject to the extent of vacancies and they may have to be engaged in other units coming under the jurisdiction if so warranted by the administrative requirement.
The post of Apprentice will be filled in GOC workshop, Trichy and Madurai Divisions, Carriage& Wagon Works, Loco Works, Electrical Workshop, Railway Hospital/Perambur and Chennai Division, Trivandrum Division, Palghat Division, Salem Division and Signal & Telecommunication Workshop and Podanur. Southern railway apprentice recruitment 2021: Qualification
Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10, +2 System of education or its equivalent.
Should have passed 12th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10, +2 system of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI.
Southern railway apprentice recruitment 2021: Criteria for preparing merit list in the selection
The following criteria are prescribed for preparation of merit in the selection:
Taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% aggregate marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
For Freshers:- The average of marks obtained by the candidates in Matriculation/10th Std
Southern railway apprentice recruitment 2021: How to apply?
Candidates are advised to get themselves registered and obtain registration number from Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship training Guindy/Chennai(Web site address: rdatchennai.gov.in) and keep it ready with them.
Candidates shall not be permitted to start Apprenticeship without RDAT registration number.
