Covid-19: 895 infected, 73 succumb in Haryana, recovery rate now 97.6%

CHANDIGARH: Haryana’s recovery rate rose to 97.6% as recoveries continued to exceed new cases for the 24th day consecutive day. On Friday, Haryana reported 895 new cases, 2,456 recoveries and 73 deaths during the day.
Haryana’s Covid count has reached 7,60,914 cases, 7,41,255 recoveries, 8,605 deaths and 11,054 active cases. Active cases include 9,143 patients in home isolation.
There were eight deaths in Hisar and Sirsa, six each in Jhajjar, Bhiwani and Karnal, five each in Yamunanangar and Jind, four each in Gurgaon, Fatehabad and Kurukshetra, three in Panchkula, two deaths in Nuh, Kaithal, Mahendergarh and Ambala, and one each in Faridabad, Sonipat, Rohtak and Palwal.
