Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankay Tripathi, Manoj Bajpayee are all set for an Ad shoot
Nawazuddin-Pankaj reunite for ad shoot nine years after ‘Gangs of Wasseypur;’ Manoj aka Sardar shot his part separately.
Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Bajpayee, and Pankaj Tripathi are three of the finest actors in the film industry. Pankaj Tripathi is usually wary of brand endorsements, finding little joy in acting for a 30-second commercial. He was, however, unusually overjoyed when he received an endorsement for a mustard oil brand. The reason was to reunite him with his co-stars from ‘Gangs of Wasseypur,’ Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Manoj Bajpayee. In March, the actor shot the commercial with Siddiqui in a Mumbai studio.
According to a source, “Nawazuddin and Pankaj were excited to face the camera together after such a long time.” The two couldn’t stop talking about their time on ‘Gangs of Wasseypur.’ The shoot, which was completed in a single day with a small team of 30 people and in compliance with safety regulations, was completed in a single day.”
Unfortunately, Bajpayee, who played Sardar Khan in the first season of Anurag Kashyap’s crime drama, was unable to join the duo on the set because he was sick with Covid-19 at the time. “After recovering, Manoj shot his portion separately against a green screen at home,” the source adds.
