Member of parliament Shankar Lalwani planting a sapling and preparing to launch a major campaign in the city.

Indore: A major campaign will be launched for tree plantation in Indore soon, as MP Shankar Lalwani asked the forest department to prepare a master plan for Ralamandal plantation.

Lalwani planted a Peepal plant in Ralamandal on the occasion of World Environment Day and resolved to make Indore a green city. He has asked the forest department to prepare a master plan for the development of Ralamandal.

Lalwani said, β€œon the occasion of World Environment Day, I planted saplings in Ralamandal and asked the forest department to make a plan to increase greenery in Indore.” Also, the department has been instructed to plant saplings of Peepal, Mango, Neem so that there will be more greenery in Indore in the coming times.

Lalwani said, β€œA detailed plan has been sought from the forest department before the rains and institutions like Municipal Corporation, IDA will also cooperate in this.”

Lalwani also asked to prepare a master plan after conducting a detailed study for the development of Ralamandal and assured all possible help from the central and state government.

Lalwani also planted a tree at the MP's office and asked everyone to strengthen their resolve to plant maximum saplings.
