SIVASAGAR, June5: The 55 inmates of homeless women’s home Jyotigriha in Hatipati Mising Gaon near Geleki were administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines on Saturday by the district administration following a declaration by the government to vaccinate those that do not have identity cards. The health department workers also carried out the positivity tests of the inmates prior to giving the vaccines in presence of Pronobjit Kakoti, DDC, Sivasagar, Ajaylal Baruah and Naser Khan , president and secretary of Human Welfare Society that runs the women’s home.
