Kangra: 160 more catch Corona while 4 succumb

Dharamshala, Jun 5 (UNI) Four people, all females, three of them senior citizens died in Kangra district on Saturday due to lethal novel Coronavirus taking death toll to 975 and 160 more were reported positive , here pushing the Kangra district case load to 44422.
Chief Medical Officer Kangra told UNI that all the 160 fresh cases who have tested positive Saturday have been isolated as per the protocol.
Four people who died Saturday were all females and three of them were senior citizens.
He said one death was reported from Tanda Medical College, two from Zonal Hospital Dharamshala and one died in home isolation in this district.
CMO said there was surge in the number of active cases to 2391 Saturday from 2379 on Friday.
CMO said there were 147 recoveries too, pushing the number of recovered patients to 41052.
