Tonight’s episode of Indian Idol 12 saw legendary singers Udit Narayan and Abhijeet Bhattacharjee visiting the sets. The two legendary singers did not just listen to the contestant crooning to their hit numbers but also sang the songs with them, making it one helluva emotional roller-coaster watch. There were many wow moments throughout the episode that it is a little difficult to pick the top 5 moments from the Indian Idol 12 5th Jun 2021 episode. But, to list a few, here you go:
Sayli Kamble and Abhijeet Bhattacharjee
Sayli Kamble and Abhijeet Bhattacharjee enthralled the audience with Akshay Kumar and Ayesha Jhulka’s Wada Raha Sanam from Khiladi. Even Himesh Reshammiya and Anu Malik appreciated Sayli’s singing abilities. Udit Narayan also heaped praises on her.
Arunita Kanjilal and Udit Narayan
Arunita sang Tu Mere Saamne, Main Tere Saamne from Darr with Udit Narayan. Their performance reminded us of the original song starring Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla. Watch the glimpse of the same here:
Danish Aslam and Udit Narayan
Everyone heaped praises on Danish for singing Sun Mitwa from Aamir Khan starrer Lagaan alongside Udit Narayan. The latter also said that he is a national-award-winning singer.
Nihal Tauro and Abhijeet Bhattacharjee
Nihal and Abhijeet performed on Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai. While Abhijeet’s mesmerizing voice transcended us into the past, Nihal Tauro’s magical voice was equally amazing.
Sawai Bhatt and Udit Narayan
Sawai Bhatt sang Gadar Ek Prem Katha’s Ghar Aaja Pardesi with Udit Narayan. Their jugalbandi was a treat for the ears.
Meanwhile, Indian Idol 12 has jumped again as far as the TRPs are concerned. They made a re-entry the TRP charts this week and secured a fourth position on the list. With it’s fair share of controversies, Indian Idol 12 has always managed to grab the attention of the viewers apart from the talent.
