Eng vs SL: England’s Reece Topley likely to miss limited-overs series against Sri Lanka & Pakistan- What comes a piece of bad news for England cricket, pacer Reece Topley could miss the upcoming limited-overs series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan after sustaining a side strain. He suffered the injury while playing against Surrey’s second XI against Essex. He also underwent a scan that has sidelined him for the next four to six weeks.

Eng vs SL: It is notable that England will play 3 T20Is and an equal number of ODIs against Sri Lanka between June 23 and July 4. They will then play six matches against Pakistan from July to July 20.

Meanwhile, Surrey has ruled out Reece Topley of the Vitality Blast campaign and two L V= Insurance County Championship games against Hampshire and Somerset. These matches will be held in July.

Eng vs SL: The news comes as a setback for Topley who had fought his way back into England’s limited-overs squad by the end of 2020 after several years due to a back stress fracture.

Sri Lanka are due to play T20s (June 24, 26 and 29) and a trio of ODIs (July 1, 4 and 8).

Pakistan will play three ODIs (July 8, 10 and 13) ahead of the T20 series (July 16, 18 and 20).

He had last played for England against India in the ODI series in March.
