Ayushmann Khuranna’s ‘Dream Girl’ co-star Rinku Singh Nikumbh passed away recently due to COVID-19 complications. The actress was last seen in an OTT release alongside Aadar Jain and Jackie Shroff. According to the reports, Rinku was battling with the deadly virus for the last few days in ICU. Her cousin Chanda Singh Nikumbh has reportedly confirmed the news. She said that the actress tested positive on May 25 and was isolated at home. After her health deteriorated, she was shifted to the hospital and admitted to the ICU. Rinku’s cousin also said that she had taken the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine on May 7 and she was supposed to take the second dose soon. Chanda further revealed that Rinku was considering travelling to Goa for an ad shoot. But her family didn’t let her go as they wanted to protect her from COVID. Apart from films, Rinku was also a part of many popular series like ‘Chidiyaghar’ and ‘Meri Haanikarak Biwi’. When news of her demise broke out on the internet, fans expressed their condolences and thoughts on her recent Instagram post. She had posted a picture of herself with a caption, 'beauty in black' followed by a heart emoji. One of the fans wrote, 'RIP Ron... Still cannot believe this' while the other fan wrote, 'May Her soul rest in eternal peace..Strength Peace Light Love to family friends fans and all near dear ones..May God Bless Her soul and grant Her eternal peace ..OmShanti ..Prayers for her family ..May God Bless her near dear ones fans friends family Always Always. ‘Dream Girl’ also starred Nushrratt Bharuccha, Annu Kapoor and Manjot Singh in key roles.
