Agri Gold’s proposal rejected
A panel of two judges of the Telangana High Court, consisting of Judge MS Ramachandra Rao and Judge T Amarnath Gold, heard a number of petitions on Agri Gold properties on Friday, rejecting Agri Gold’s proposal from Joint Venture. The Agri Gold states that it can raise 2000 million dollars with the proposed development plan in which 23 companies are involved.
The panel expressed doubts about the proposal, saying the court would not be able to monitor the sale of developed plots. The Agri Gold pointed out that the court had only been able to raise $ 50 million over the past six years and expressed its concern. The panel then said that they would have accepted the proposals for the sale and auction of said properties instead of the development plan. Agri Gold then stated that it would come with the proposal proposed by the court.
Case adjourned
The panel expressed dissatisfaction with the Telangana government over the inability to hand over 150 acres to Narendar Reddy, an auction buyer, even though he bought it in 2019 for about 15 million. The panel then declared that it would hear these cases along with the application regarding the sale of 23 million crore shopping mall in Vijayawada next Friday, and adjourned the case.
