CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday will announce its decision on lockdown. Chief minister M K Stalin on Friday held a high-level discussion with the bureaucrats to take stock of the Covid situation after his government had implemented complete lockdown for two weeks ending 6am on June 7. “A decision on lockdown will be declared on Saturday. The health and revenue departments are jointly working on the details,” said a top official. On June 1, Stalin indicated that the lockdown could not be extended infinitely and should be put an end with the support of the people.
