Congratulations are in order for actor Aparshakti Khurana and his wife Aakriti Ahuja as they gear up to welcome their first child together! The super elated soon-to-be father took to Instagram to share the happy, happy news with his friends, fans and well-wishers. He broke the news by sharing a beautiful monochrome picture that showed him kissing his wife's baby bump as she smiles. He shared the picture and wrote as the caption, 'Lockdown me kaam to expand ho nahi paya, humne socha family hi expand kar lete hain (We could not expand our work during the lockdown so we decided to expand our family instead) #preggeralert.' Several of his industry friends dropped congratulatory messages on the post. Neha Dhupia wrote, 'Congratulations Pari and Aakriti...this is such wonderful news...lots n lots of love.' Actress Ekta Kaul congratulated the couple and wrote, 'Aree Wahh.. congratulations.' Actress Ishita Raj wrote, 'Congrats apar. Great news. wish you both well.' Actor Kartik Aaryan wished them and wrote, 'Congratulations'. Sunny Singh wrote, 'Congratulations mere bhai lots of love to both of you!!' Aparshakti replied to most of the comments and dropped heart emojis. Aakriti, the new mommy-to-be also shared the same picture on her Instagram account and wrote, 'Doing our bit to add to this Baby Boomer generation #PreggerAlert : @taniaabroll @taniagrewalphotography.' For the unversed, Aparshakti Khurana is the brother of actor Ayushmann Khuranna, one of the most celebrated, sought after talents in the industry. He was last seen in choreographer Remo D'Souza's dance drama 'Street Dancer 3D' alongside Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. He has worked in many films including Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and Rajkummar Rao-starrer horror comedy 'Stree'. Very soon, he will have his first solo film release with Pranutan Bahl's 'Helmet'. It is directed by Satram Ramani and also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Pranutuan Bahl and Ashish Verma in important roles.
