BCCI Ethics Officer finds Rupa Gurunath guilty of ‘Conflict of Interest’

Rupa, the first woman president of a BCCI affiliated unit, is a full-time Director of India Cements Limited.

The BCCI Ethics Officer Justice (Retd) D.K. Jain has found former Board president N. Srinivasan’s daughter and Tamil Nadu Cricket Association president Rupa Gurunath guilty of “Conflict of Interest” in an order passed yesterday.

Rupa, the first woman president of a BCCI affiliated unit, is a full-time Director of India Cements Limited. She has been found guilty of indirect conflict of interest for ICL’s close association with Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited.
