- Covid-19 downslide continues
Vadodara: The number of active Covid-19 cases in the city and district continued to decline with 258 new cases being detected and 514 being discharged. This left 6,348 active cases in the city and district.
The new cases were detected from 6,615 tests conducted in the city and district. With the fresh cases, the total number of caases reported in the city and district so far went up to 69,875.
The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) health bulletin also confirmed the deaths of two more persons. This took the official death toll to 612.
The active cases included 109 persons on ventilators or BIPAP machines. Another 174 persons were breathing with the help of oxygen support.
