Mumbai: Case against actors Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani for violating COVID-19 norms
A case has been filed against actors Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani and others on Wednesday for allegedly violating the pandemic norms, the Mumbai police said.
According to the police, the actors were found roaming at Bandstand Promenade and could not give a valid reason to the police for being out of their homes after 2 pm.
Maharashtra cases
Maharashtra saw a marginal rise in its daily COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. 15,169 new cases and 285 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The tally now stands at 57,76,184 with 96,751 fatalities. Meanwhile, the recovery rate has touched 94.54 per cent. 29,270 patients have recovered, taking the total recoveries to 54,60,589.

Mumbai reported less than 1,000 for the third day in a row. 925 new cases and 31 fatalities were reported on Wednesday. The tally now stands at 7,08,007 with 14,938 deaths so far. Meanwhile, the doubling rate has increased to 477 days and the weekly growth rate has dropped to 0.14 per cent.
