Indore: Indore Municipal Corporation on Tuesday started three more “Drive-in Dhanwantari Vaccination Centres” in three assembly constituencies taking the total number of such facility in the city to six.
One vaccination centre has been set up at Chimanbagh in Indore-3 assembly constituency, second at Dusshera Maidan in Indore-4 assembly constituency and third at Carmel Convent School in Rau assembly constituency.
Three days ago, drive-in vaccination centres were started at Dalalbagh on VIP Road in Indore-1 assembly constituency, at Kanakeshwari Devi Ground near Madan Mahal Garden in Indore-2 assembly constituency and at Nehru Stadium in Indore-5 assembly constituency.
“There are six assembly constituencies within municipal limits. We have started drive-in vaccination centre at each of the assembly constituencies,” said municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal.
The first and second doses of vaccine are being administered to people above the age of 45 at these centres.
Registration can be done on the spot when people will drive into the centres. People will be inoculated while they are in\on their vehicles.
