Obviously I am small/skinny fat and have a lot of work to do.
Issue is that I am improving everywhere except my calves (****ty genetics) and really don't want to look chicken-legged.
If you were me, would you keep bulking everywhere and just take what gains will come (likely little calf gains with good improvement everywhere else) OR would you just focus on lower body and pray that gains come so that one day I will be able to work my whole body and look proportional?
Anyone else with ****ty lower leg genetics, how do ya'll deal with this?
FWIW, I already prioritize lifting calves. I work them early during my sessions and at least twice a week if not more. I am going to start adding calf jumps to my regimen. I already do the usual stuff (Mind-muscle connection, slow reps, high weight and low weight across low and high rep ranges, etc.)
Thanks in advance for your responses!
Edit: I am in my mid-20s, not 51

What would you do if you were me?

When you are small/skinny fat, calves should be the last of your body problems.
If you were alone on a mountain and freezing, would you complain that one sock is a different color than the other sock?
No, you would search for a shelter and kill a bear and sleep inside him, like diCaprio did, or something like that.
Seriously now, it's not like you are a big shredded guy and you have Jon Jones' calves."Reminds me of the good ol' days back in 03-04 when ripptoes/5 by 5/hit/doggcrap reigned supreme and you did not need direct arm work for big biceps. Rows and chins were it. "Ever see a guy rowing 300+lbs with chicken arms?". Ah yes those were the days. God bless amusclehead and his twisted one dimensional views along with the rest of the former flock."
