Bhartiya Sainik School and Junior college in Titwata have offered to bear the school, living and food expenses of 25 boys of 114 who have lost their parents in
Corona period.

Shinde, chairman of Shivniketan Trust who runs school and former
MLC, has written a letter to chief minister
Uddhav Thackeray and deputy chief minister
Ajit Pawar demanding permission for the same.
Talking to TOI, Shinde said, “I have come to know that 2915 children in the state lost their parents out of which 114 children lost their both father and mother due to Covid-10 out of which our Seva Niketan Trust who runs school have decided to bear all expenses of 25 boys (as the school did not have girl's section) to bear all studies, hostel and other expenses till 12th standard”.
Shinde said, “After 12th standard, our trust will also bear expenses of bright students in their future studies”. The Bhartiya Sainik School and Junior college is the only military school approved by
Maharashtra Government in Thane District running since 1995.
