MEA personal computing devices market expected to decline 2.4% in Q2

The Middle East and Africa (MEA) personal computing devices (PCD) shipments is expected to decline 2.4 percent year-on-year in the second quarter to 5.5 million, according to the latest report from IDC. The category is made up of desktops, notebooks, workstations and tablets. The study attributed the decrease to a tough comparison point: a large number of tablets were delivered into the education sector of Egypt in 2020, an order unlikely to be repeated this year.
