Covid-19: 463 deaths take Karnataka toll past 30,000

BENGALURU: Karnataka’s Covid-19 toll crossed 30,000 on Wednesday on the back of 463 deaths in the past 24 hours, and Bengaluru reported 307 of them. There were 16,387 fresh cases, up from 14,304 on Tuesday. With 1.4 lakh tests conducted, the state’s daily positivity rate was 11.2%. Bengaluru accounted for 4,095 fresh cases. Karnataka recruited 1,763 doctors and they were inducted into the service by the health department on Wednesday.
