Ratnamani Metals stock ends 3% higher after strong Q4 results

On a sequential basis, net sales revenues were up by 57.30% compared to total revenues in the Dec-20 quarter at Rs442.53cr.

Shares of Ratnamani Metals Ltd surged on Thursday’s trade after reporting strong Q4 results. The company reported a 10.49% yoy rise in consolidated net revenues for the Mar-21 quarter at Rs696.08cr.

On a sequential basis, net sales revenues were up by 57.30% compared to total revenues in the Dec-20 quarter at Rs442.53cr.

The stock ended at Rs2,006.10 up by Rs57.9 or 2.97% from its previous closing of Rs1,948.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs2,017 and touched a high and low of Rs2,121 and Rs1,930.05 respectively.

Net profits in the Mar-21 quarter was up 67.34% at Rs109.43cr on the back of a 10.5% fall in raw material costs at Rs407cr despite sharply higher top line, magnifying the impact of the raw material cost advantage.

Net margins at 15.72% for Mar-21 quarter was higher than 10.69% in Mar-20 quarter and 13.59% in Dec-20 quarter.
