TRICHY: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin will be briefed on Saturday morning on the suggestions of stakeholders, including parents and teachers, on conducting the Class XII board exam, school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said on Thursday.
School education officials in all the district had been directed to get suggestions from parents and teachers, he said. Parents and others can email their suggestions to tnschooledu21@gmail.com or use the helpline 14417 for the same purpose.
On Friday, the department will hold an online meeting with education officials and educationists.
Mahesh was speaking to reporters at his MLA office in Trichy after distributing beneficial schemes to frontline workers as part of the 98th birth anniversary of former chief minister M Karunanidhi.
Asked about the leaders of DMK alliance parties favouring the conduct of the board exam, the minister said, “Members of our alliance partners suspect that the Union government is attempting to conduct entrance exams for all colleges through the National Testing Agency which is part of a new education policy opposed by the Tamil Nadu government.”
