Ghana mobile money transactions rise by over 150% in value in past year

The value of mobile money transactions in Ghana more than doubled over the last twelve months, according to figures from the Bank of Ghana reported by MyJoyonline. The total amount increased by over 150 percent to April from the year before. On a monthly basis, the value of transactions from March to April increased by about 2 percent.
