South Africa's Lloyd Harris is out of the French Open after he was beaten in the second round by Cameron Norrie of the United Kingdom.
Harris went down in four sets, 6-4, 3-6, 3-6 and 2-6 in a match that lasted 2 hours and 18 minutes.
Norrie only presented Harris with one break point during their encounter which the South African converted to help him take the first set.
Unfortunately for Horris, however, Norrie had plenty of opportunities to break his serve and ended up converting five break points to take control of the match.
On Wednesday, South African doubles ace Raven Klaasen and his partner, Ben McLachlan of Japan, went through to the second round of the doubles competition by beating Mathias Bourgue and Lucas Pouille of France.

Harris is still in the doubles competition, along with his partner Jonathan Erlich of Israel.
They beat Federico Coria and Diego Schwartzman of Argentina in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-2 on Wednesday.
Kevin Anderson, the other South African at the tournament, was knocked out in the first round despite a mid-match fightback against South Korea's Kwon Soon-woo on Tuesday.
Anderson went down 5-7, 4-6, 6-2, 6-7 (4/7).
