Stock market movers: Top 10 winners and losers on BSE, NSE on June 3

Equity benchmark Sensex rallied 383 points to close at a fresh record on Thursday, driven by gains in HDFC Bank, L&T and Titan despite a largely negative trend in global markets.

The 30-share BSE index ended 382.95 points or 0.70 percent higher at 52,232.43.

Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty soared 114.15 points or 0.73 percent to end at its lifetime peak of 15,690.35.

Titan was the top gainer in the Sensex pack, soaring nearly 7 per cent, followed by ONGC, L&T, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Bank.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, PowerGrid, Bajaj Auto, M&M and Dr Reddy’s were among the laggards.

Sensex gainers

  1. Titan: The stock was the top winner in the Sensex pack. It touched an intra day high of Rs 1702 before closing at Rs 1691, up 106 points or 6.69 percent.

  2. ONGC: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 123.90 before losing at Rs 122.65, up 4.90 points or 4.16 percent.

  3. Larsen and Toubro: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 1514.80 before closing at Rs 1510.25 up 38.80 points or 2.64 percent.

  4. Kotak Bank: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 1828 before closing at Rs 1815, up 32.40 points or 1.82 percent.

  5. Axis Bank: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 752 before closing at Rs 750.45, up 13.40 points or 1.82 percent.

Sensex losers

  1. IndusInd Bank: It was the top loser in the Sensex pack. The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 964.75 before closing at Rs 1005.85, down 22.15 points or (-)2.15 percent

  2. Power Grid: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 225.60 before closing at Rs 225.85, down 1.55 points or (-)0.68 percent.

  3. Bajaj Auto: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 4244.50 before closing at Rs 4273, down 21.75 points or (-)0.51 percent.

  4. Mahindra and Mahindra: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 798 before closing at Rs 802.10, down 4.10 points or 0.51 percent.

  5. Dr Reddy: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 5270.30 before closing at Rs 5286.10, down 26.35 points or (-)0.50 percent.

Nifty50 gainers

  1. Titan: The top gainer in Nifty50. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,744.25 per piece before closing at Rs1,694 per piece, 108.30 points up or 6.83 per cent.

  2. ONGC: It touched an intraday high of Rs 129.50 to close at Rs 123.65, up 5.90 points or 5.01 percent.

  3. Eicher Motors: The stock touched intraday high of Rs 2,945.50 to close at Rs 2,768, up 90.25 points or 3.37 percent.

  4. Larsen and Toubro: The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 1,618.15 before closing at Rs 1,512 per piece, up 40.95 points or 2.78 percent.

  5. Axis Bank: It touched an intra-day high of Rs 810.70 to close at Rs 752.25, up 15.25 points or 2.07 percent up.

Nifty50 losers

  1. IndusInd Bank: It is the top loser in the Nifty50. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 925.20 to close at Rs 1,005.85 per share, down 22.15 points or (-) 2.15 percent.

  2. Wipro: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 488.70 per piece to close at Rs 539 per share, down 4 points or (-) 0.74 percent.

  3. Dr Reddy: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 4,781.15 per share to close at Rs 5,280, down by 32.35 points or (-) 0.61 percent.

  4. Tata Steel: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 1,011.65 per share to close Rs 1,117.55 per share, down 6.50 points or (-) 0.58 percent.

  5. Bajaj Auto: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 3,865.55 per share to close at Rs 4,271.05, down 24 points or (-) 0.56 percent.
