    How to correct muscle imbalance?

    I've been working out consistently for about 2 years now. I've noticed certain muscles are stronger and work harder than the other and some muscles will compensate for weaker ones. I've heard of people being stronger on their right side rather than the left, not the case here.

    I.e. My right pec is stronger than the left, so in turn my left delt compensates for my left pec. After I work out my chest, I feel soreness in my right pec and my left delt, with very little soreness in my left pec. I've noticed this for about a year now. I'm starting to get concerned because my bench press has been stuck at 190 for about 6 months, and what's the point in working out if you're not progressing, right...

    Don’t worry about mind muscle connection with big compounds, and just focus on the movement.

    Then use lighter compounds or isolations to focus on working muscles in a more targeted manner.
