The Mohali administration today issued orders that liquor vends will remain closed during the weekend curfew. The restrictions regarding the number of passengers travelling in personal vehicles stand withdrawn. However, these continue to be applicable to commercial vehicles and taxis.

Shops can remain open between 5 am and 5 pm. However, no shopping mall or single/multi-brand retail standalone shop will open except those selling essential items in these malls/complexes.

Covid monitors will be appointed by market associations and their names will be prominently displayed. They will be personally responsible for ensuring adherence to the Covid guidelines.

Restaurants, eateries can open only for home delivery till 9 pm, but no dine-in or take-away is allowed.

All private offices should ensure that their staff are tested regularly – preferably every two weeks.
