'Sonu Sood is the real superhero', says Telangana min KTR; Actor reacts

The actor-turned-philanthropist Sonu Sood is garnering heaps of praises and love from all the corners of the world. The real life hero has been helping the needy since last year when the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic forced the migrant labourers to go back to their native places. Sonu Sood has been a name synonymous with help for people in need since then. Now, KTR, a Telangana minister praised the actor on social media platform and called him a 'superhero'. The Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana, KT Rama Rao, was responding to a man who had thanked KTR for providing an oxygen cylinder for his friend's father. The Twitter user wrote, '@KTRTRS @KTRoffice Once again I can't thank you enough KTR garu. We Received requested #OxygenConcentrator within 10 hours. You Helped many till date and we never forget your continuous help to TG people. And I must say this today, you are a real #SuperHero at heart.' Responding to the man's tweet, KTR insisted that Sonu Sood should be addressed as a 'superhero'. KTR wrote, 'Am just an elected public representative doing my bit brother. You can call @SonuSood a super hero for sure Thumbs up. Also, request you to kindly help others in distress.' Sonu took no time in responding to Telangana minister’s kind words. Sonu thanked KTR with a tweet and wrote, 'Thank you so much sir for your kind words! But you are truly a hero who has done so much for Telangana. The state has developed so much under your leadership. I consider Telangana as my second Home as it’s my place of work & the people have shown me so much love over the years.' This is not the first time a political leader has taken note of SOnu's nobe deeds and praised him, earlier Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khatter, actor and politician Smriti Irani, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh among others had lauded Sonu Sood for sending migrants workers homes in the hour of need. A while ago the Punjab government appointed Sonu as the brand ambassador of COVID-19 vaccination drive in the state.
