40 year old man jumps into creek, search on for his body

Thane, Jun 1 (UNI) The Thane Firemen and RDMC team has launched a frantic search for a 40 year old man of Ganesh Nagar Diva who jumped into the Kasheli creek on Monday
evening at around 17:40 p,m., civic sources said.
The Chief of the RDMC of the TMC Santosh Kadam told this correspondent that Swapnil Shantaram Talgaonkar jumped into the creek and committed suicide.

Officials of the Kalwa and Narpoli police station also joined the search operations.

According to the officials Swapnil worked as a security guard with a private company at Kalyan.

The search operations has been called off for the day as it was darkness and will be resumed tomorrow morning the official said.

He said that before jumping into the creek at Kasheli creek opposite Bombay Dhabha, on the Mumbai Nashik road, he had called his friend Rohit Gaikwad and given him prior intimation and called him to the spot. But before his friend could reach the said spot Swapnil jumped into the creek and the search for his body is underway the official said.
