Covid vaccination programme held at Sapam, Tentha

Thoubal, May 31 2021: The Covid Care Committee, Wangjing Tentha and Covid Task Force, Tentha Gram Panchayat in association with District Welfare Officer Thoubal under the supervision of Wangjing Tentha AC MLA Paonam Brojen Singh organised a Covid vaccination programme at Tentha Multiplex in Tentha Khongbal today.

The villagers of Tentha have expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the MLA for his concern and initiative of organising the vaccination programme for the welfare of the people.

A villager of Tentha stated that the vaccination programme conducted today is just a start in the fight against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic and appealed to the MLA to organise a similar vaccination programme in phases to vaccinate all the villagers.

A total of 200 beneficiaries of Tentha GP were vaccinated today.

Meanwhile, SAPAM GP Covid Test Force Committee under the supervision of Wangjing AC MLA Paobam Brojen and in association with District Family Officer Thoubal also organised a vaccination programme at Sapam Community hall.

Speaking on the occasion, S Jayadev Singh, PRO of MLA, stated that the COVID-19 vaccination drive for Wangjing Tentha AC was launched on May 29 at Wangjing Laikol Community Hall under the supervision of the local MLA, Paonam Brojen and District Family Welfare Officer, Thoubal.

He mentioned that the vaccination programme for the second phase was held today at Sapam GP & Tentha GP while adding the preparation for organising similar vaccination programme in Wangjing GP, Tekcham GP, Khongjom GP, Langathel GP and Kairembikhok GP have been carried out.

S Jayadev Singh further appealed to the public to come forward for Covid vaccination.

Paonam Brojen also extended his appreciation to the members of Covid Task Force, Tentha GP & Sapam GP; nurses, doctors and other health workers for their service and sacrifice in conducting the vaccination programme successfully.
