Dutch data centre footprint grows 6% in 2020 to 400,000 m2

The Dutch data centre market increased its floor space by 6 percent in 2020, to a total 400,000 m2, according to a report by the Dutch Data Center Association. Its members expect to grow strongly in the coming years, adding another 211,000 m2 of space. While 74 percent of the current space is in the Amsterdam area, around a third of future growth is expected to come outside the capital area.
