The equity markets, of late, has gotten into the psychological mindset of a teen who is keen to jump over the wall but realises the risk of landing abruptly.
Global markets seemingly are behaving that way – they realise the headwinds ahead - rising inflation and the Fed now lagging behind the curve, the ripple effect of the crypto correction and finally the impact of Covid 2.0 on domestic plays, especially banks and discretionary consumption.
Yet for these all, they have held on leave alone minor dips.
India has just about started relatively outperforming, having underperformed year-to-date still, but with second wave of Covid-19 ebbing considerably last few weeks, the tailwinds seem equally in place.
