Hyderabad: IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday called actor Sonu Sood a superhero for his services to people in distress during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Minister said this in a tweet when one Nanda Kishore Tokala thanked his office (@KTROffice) for reacting promptly to a request for an oxygen concentrator. The medical help was ensured within 10 hours after the request was posted on Twitter.
Nanda Kishore appreciated Rao stating, “You helped many till the date and we will never forget your continuous help to Telangana people. And I must say this today, you’re a real #superHero, (sic)”
“Am just an elected public representative doing my bit brother. You can call @SonuSood, a superhero for sure. Also request you to kindly help others in distress,” was the Minister’s reply.
Being tagged in the tweet, actor Sonu Sood joined the conversation and said Telangana was his second home and that people here had shown him so much love. “Thank you so much sir for your kind words! But you are truly a hero who has done so much for Telangana. The state has developed so much under your leadership. I consider Telangana as my second Home as it is my place of work & the people have shown me so much love over the years,” he said.
