Optus calls for acceleration of Media Reform, re-allocation of 600 MHz spectrum

Australian operator Optus has expressed its support for the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional, Development and Communications' Media Reform Green Paper – Modernising broadcast regulation in Australia (the Green Paper). According to Andrew Sheridan, Optus VP of regulatory and public affairs, "re-allocating the undervalued 600 MHz band for critical mobile internet enables Australia to achieve a second digital dividend".
