Telefonica and WTO ink new sustainable tourism deal

Telefonica said it has renewed its memorandum of understanding with the World Tourism Organisation (WTO) to promote tourism through sustainable and competitive development based on digitalisation and the application of new technologies such as cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence. The basis of the new partnership between the operator and the UN agency is restarting tourism and fostering global and regional innovation to accelerate recovery and drive the adoption of new technologies.
