Ranchi, Jun 1 (UNI) The state government on Tuesday decided to extend the restrictions imposed as part of the health safety week to control the second wave of Coronavirus by another week to June 10, 6 AM.
A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state disaster management authority which was chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Among the most important decision the government has decided to do away with the criteria of e-pass for movement inside the districts and also inter districts.
Further the government has decided to give some relaxations by dividing the districts in two categories. In the first category there are 9 districts including Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Deoghar, Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Garhwa, Gumla and Ramgarh were number of cases are more. In these districts apart from clothes, jewellery and shoe shops all other shops will be allowed to open.
In the other remaining 15 districts all kinds of shops will be opened. In all the 24 districts the shops will be opened till 2 PM only.
The government has said that all malls and multi brand showrooms will remain closed in the state.
