Samsung next foldable smartphone could be a foldable tablet
Samsung has been gearing up to launch the successor of its Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip next year. Along with these two, the company is also expected to showcase a new type of device with a flexible display like its rollable smartphone.

However, another type of foldable smartphone is in the rumours from the company which has two hinges. According to a report by LetsGo Digital, Samsung’s display division has shown another foldable design with two hinges and will fold from either end of the device both inwards and outwards and it is likely to be called Galaxy Z Fold Tab.

The report suggests that the device will feature two hinges on either side of the big slab with a magnet to hold the S Pen. Which when folded outwards, can be used as a smartphone rather a thick smartphone due to the folded displays from either end. When open it will transform into a large tablet.

The company has already filed two patents with a similar design concept with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO), and the second with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Apart from this LetsGo Digital has also published the renders of the tablet created by Sarang Sheth.

Though the screen size, specifications and other features of the alleged Galaxy Z Fold are not known but based on previous leaks and rumours, the device is expected to feature a 7.2-inch display when open.

We are also not sure when to expect this device, but LetsGo Digital reports that Samsung might launch this device in 2022.
