Indore: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission is going to decide on the fate of State Service Preliminary Exam-2020, which is scheduled on June 20 but maybe postponed due to Covid-19 crisis in the state, on Wednesday.

“The Commission meeting will take place on Wednesday wherein Covid-19 situation will be analyzed and then the decision on State Service Exam-2020 will be taken,” said an official wishing anonymity.

Lately, MPPSC had issued notices for postponement of State Engineering Service-2020 and Dental Surgeon Examination-2019 due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Like State Service Exam, these two exams were also scheduled in June. So many participants anticipated that the MPPSC would suspend State Service Exam-2020.

Fake notice claiming that MPPSC had deferred State Service Exam was also circulated on social media. However, MPPSC had rubbished the claim and lodged an FIR over the fake notice.

Around 3 lakh students have submitted forms for State Service Examination-2020.
