Get ready Army, McDonald’s BTS meal is here in India.
The American fast-food giant has collaborated with global pop icons, BTS from South Korea, for a meal of 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, coke, and sweet chilli and Cajun dipping sauces. The meal is inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea that has been dubbed the ‘BTS Meal’.
This menu tour will arrive in North and East India on June 1, and South and West India on June 4. Consumers will be able to order the iconic meal through McDonald’s app, in-store, at the drive-thru, or via McDelivery. The meal will be available in North and East India until June 30.
“The band has great memories with McDonald’s. We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world,” said Big Hit Music, BTS’s label.
“No matter who you are, everyone has a go-to order at McDonald’s – even international superstars like BTS,” said Rajeev Ranjan, chief operating officer, McDonald’s India – North and East. Connaught Plaza Restaurants operates McDonald’s restaurants in North and East India. “This band is truly a global phenomenon, with a fan base that knows no borders, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the BTS Meal to our customers in India,” added Ranjan.
Earlier, McDonald’s took to Twitter to announce the collaboration, making the fans go gaga over the announcement. The McDonald’s BTS Meal is being launched globally over the span of the next month. The announcement tweet garnered 637.1k likes, 278.5k retweets and 33.1k comments from the followers This collaboration comes after the South Korean group released their second English single Butter.
