A camp was organised for teachers’ vaccination in Dahi on Monday

Dahi (Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh): The school teachers of Dahi collected Rs 1.5 lakh in just 4 hours for Himmat Singh Dharve, a clerk in Girls Secondary School, undergoing treatment of Covid in a hospital in Indore. He is in ICU.

The members of MP Tribal Welfare Teachers Association contributed to the sum. On receiving call of Block Education Officer Satishchandra Patidar, Block Resource Coordinator Manoj Dubey, Irfan Mansoori of Association, teachers Sarupchand Malaviya, Arun Kushwaha, PTI teacher Ramesh Solanki, Ramesh Dodwa, Sankul Principal Nagar Singh Jamra collected the amount.

Besides helping Dharve, funds are also being collected by teachers to help the families of teachers who died of Covid. Widespread publicity for corona vaccination in the region is also being done by teachers as they are motivating people for the same. Earlier, the teachers here had collected Rs 3.5 lakh for purchasing equipment for corona treatment at Community Health Centre.

Vaccination of teachers

On Monday, a camp was organised for teachers’ vaccination. Block Medical Officer Dr Vijay Aharwal, Satishchandra Patidar, block resource coordinator Manoj Dubey, Hitendra Singh Thakur, Sitaram Kudesh, Ramesh Solanki, Bhuwan Singh Solanki, Meenakshi Thakur and health department staff provided support.
