RATLAM (MADHYA PRADESH): The second wave of corona has left indelible scars on the lives of many locals, but they were relieved after the unlocking process began here on Tuesday.
Only kirana and medicine shops opened today. City administration will implement in a day or two a new plan of opening 25% shops in the city.
Businessmen met officials and submitted a memorandum that trade and business activities were badly affected during over two months of lockdown, so restrictions must not be imposed on opening of shops.
Meanwhile, a total of 22 corona winners were discharged today from the Government Medical College Hospital. Dean Dr.Jitendra Gupta said that a total of 137 people including Covid-19 and suspected patients are under tratement in 550-bed hospital.
A total of 24 new Covid-19 cases were found which was the lowest in a single day during May. A total of 6,170 Covid-19 cases were added during May, which is not only highest but many times more than any single month since pandemic broke out.
A total of 111 people lost their lives in May out of the 305 deaths due to corona. Overall, 17,302 Covid-19 cases have been found in the district of which 35.66% cases were found in worst May.
